Even Deutsche Bank decides to implement FlexCube for its retail banking expansion
Tirana, 15 December 2006 – Lately even the German giant Deutsche Bank (DB) was reported to have chosen Flexcube to help sustain its venture into retail banking in Russia and China, International Banking Systems journal (IBS) announced last month.
DB is a major financial institution well known for its corporate finance and private wealth management services. However, it is noteworthy that it has chosen i-Flex’s retail solution, FlexCube, for its retail-banking venture in both countries.
It was in the later part of 1999 when the American Bank of Albania (ABA) first implemented the same core banking solution – Flexcube. At that time ABA was the second bank in the world to choose Flexcube as its banking platform, preceded only by the Federal Bank of the Middle East in Cyprus.
Today Flexcube continues to provide ABA with an excellent banking platform that supports its day-to-day as well as future needs and operations. Flexcube is an essential part of ABA’s technology infrastructure but most importantly it provides real benefits to our customers so that they can be offered greater facilities and speed. This platform allows ABA to create and offer new and improved services and products. Then these products and services are available to all our customers at any of our branches and agencies in Albania and Greece, all in real-time and full security.
More than 280 financial institutions across 100 countries have selected FLEXCUBE as their banking technology platform.
The diversity of financial institutions that use FLEXCUBE include the International Monetary Fund, UBS, North Carolina Department of State Treasurer, Banco de Chile, Shinsei Bank, Citibank, Caixa Galicia, Lloyds, HDFC Bank, DAB, Sicredi, Syndicate Bank and just recently Deutsche Bank.
Flexcube has been ranked the worlds No. 1 selling banking solution for four consecutive years, 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005, by the UK-based International Banking Systems (IBS). |
