Lezha branch opens officially
Today, in the city of Lezha, Intesa Sanpaolo Bank Albania organized a reception on occasion of the official opening of the Lezha branch. Present in the reception were top representatives from the bank and the local government, together with businessmen and special guests.
In his opening words, the CEO of the bank Mr. Stefano Farabbi, thanked all those present and expressed to them the importance that the bank places on the development of businesses and the country itself. He explained that the products and services offered, are not just simply those of a local bank, but bring with them the guarantee that comes from being part of one of the largest banking groups in the Eurozone. This fact serves as a foundation not only for the bank, but most importantly for the businesses and individuals that choose the bank’s services.
Participants were also greeted by the Mayor of Lezha, Mr. Viktor Tusha, who expressed his delight and congratulations for the opening of the bank in his city. The Prefect of Lezha, Mr. Kastriot Kodheli and the Chairman of the District Council, Mr. Bardh Rica expressed their congratulation as well.
Inauguration of the Lezha branch was preceded by the opening of the Shengjin branch in December of last year, thus taking the total number of branches to 38. The geographical position of these two branches in the north of the country, near the Port of Shengjin and on the national road connecting the north to the center of the country, provide some stable foundations for the sustained growth of business as well as the growing need for banking services. The branches will work closely with each other and the branch in Shkodra, to consolidate further the strategic position of the bank in the north of the country. |
