What is the information required for making a transfer?
In order to make a transfer to another Bank, you should have the following information:
Name and address of the Beneficiary
Account number of the Beneficiary
Name and address of the Bank
Bank code (such as SWIFT, IBAN
, Routing Number, etc)
If you wish to effect a transfer in another account at Intesa Sanpaolo Bank Albania, you should know the Beneficiary’s name and his/her account or IBAN
What is the information required for receiving a transfer?
If you are interested in receiving a transfer effected by another bank, you should provide the following information to the sender of the funds:
Your name (as registered in the Bank if you are a customer of the Bank)
(account number), or (if you don’t have an account with), your passport number (or identification card number)

In case I want to transfer money outside Albania, how long does it take for the funds to be available in the beneficiary account?
Intesa Sanpaolo Bank Albania effects outgoing transfers and the funds become available in the beneficiary account usually after two working days from the receipt of the transfer order in the Bank. There are exceptions when payment is not done according to the normal procedure for different reasons such as lack of and/or incorrect information, etc.
What about transfers for companies?
For companies the bank offers the possibility of transferring funds quicker than the normal value date against an additional commission.

Transfer Commissions applied by the Bank
The Bank applies commissions for the transfers with other banks and does not apply any commission for the transfers within the bank in all its branches and agencies in Albania.
Do I receive any document certifying the transfer effected?
Yes, after the execution of the transaction you ordered, customer service provides you with a transfer certificate with all the payment details.
