The use of a POS terminal to make purchases is now common in most of the world. Card purchases (through a POS terminal) have in most instances replaced the need to purchase with cash. This process has now successfully started in Albania as well.

 

An increasing number of different types of merchant now use an Intesa Sanpaolo Bank Albania POS terminal and new terminals are being installed every day in shops, hotels, restaurants, travel agencies, supermarkets, gas stations, medical clinics, etc. Presently, there are Intesa Sanpaolo Bank Albania POS terminals in all the major cities in Albania with plans to expand even further in the future.
