On June 9th, Intesa Sanpaolo hosted the grand finale of the 6th Edition of the "Imprese Vincenti" (Winning Companies) program at Grattacielo Gioia 22 in Milan.
Organized through a powerful synergy between the Banca dei Territori and the International Banks Division (IBD), the event expanded its horizons to celebrate the beating heart of the real economy: small and medium-sized enterprises. For the second consecutive year, the stage welcomed ten exceptional companies from across Central and Eastern Europe and Egypt, highlighting the Group's commitment to building international industrial connections.
Strategic nodes in Global Supply Chains
These ten enterprises were selected for their ability to generate value through innovation, ESG sustainability, and international integration. Operating in vital sectors, from high-tech and advanced manufacturing to agribusiness and infrastructure, these SMEs are not merely exporters. They are strategic nodes in European supply chains, driving the nearshoring phenomenon and strengthening the connection between international and Italian markets.
Among these 10 outstanding champions, hailing from Croatia, Egypt, Hungary, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, and Slovenia, Intesa Sanpaolo Bank Albania proudly accompanied Italcostruzioni, a local excellence recognized for its precision mechanical processing, top-tier European quality standards, and strong export orientation.
The Vision: Being the "Bank on the right advice"
To compete in today's shifting macroeconomic landscape where value chains are shortening, financial support alone is no longer enough; businesses need targeted expertise and strategic partnership.
In the video, Giuseppe Ferraro, Executive Director of Corporate, SME and Small Business for the International Banks Division, outlines the Group’s vision and the concrete support provided to businesses:
“Our division is a truly international network present in 12 countries, and thanks to strong synergies with the Banca dei Territori division, we create a strategic bridge for our clients across the entire area,” highlights Giuseppe Ferraro, Head of IBD Corporate, SME, Small Business. “To support their growth and internationalization, we offer solutions that make a real difference, from green financing and working capital to Minibonds, which give companies more flexibility in their capital structure. In today’s complex markets, what really defines an ‘Impresa Vincente’ is resilience: the willingness to innovate, to invest, to choose the right people, and to adapt boldly to change.”
Through this dedicated advisory approach, Intesa Sanpaolo reaffirms its commitment to being the “Bank on the right advice”, empowering high-potential local champions to lead the green and digital transitions and compete successfully on the global stage.
