19.02.2026
On February 17th, 2026, Intesa Sanpaolo Bank Albania had the honor of hosting the International Banks Division (IBD) Roadshow in Tirana, bringing together Retail and Corporate & SME & SB structures for strategic alignment on the Group’s 2026–2029 Business Plan.
The Bank was particularly honored by the presence of Mrs. Paola Papanicolaou, Chief of the International Banks Division, whose participation underscored the importance of the Albanian market within the Division’s growth strategy. Her visit reaffirmed the strong connection between the Group and Intesa Sanpaolo Bank Albania, as well as the shared ambition for the years ahead.
The Roadshow was attended by senior representatives of the Division, including Mrs. Natascia Noveri, Head of IBD Retail & Wealth Management; Mr. Giuseppe Ferraro, Head of IBD Corporate, SME & Small Business (connected online) and Mr. Alessandro Dordolo, Head of IBD HR; together with the CEO of Intesa Sanpaolo Bank Albania, Mr. Giuseppe Giampietro, the Bank’s management team and network representatives.
Entering a New Journey
With the participation of Mrs. Papanicolaou and the IBD leadership team, we entered a new phase of transformation.
The Roadshow marked the beginning of a renewed journey centered on growth, innovation, and advisory excellence.
From product distribution to trusted advice.
From lending-only to advisory-driven relationships.
From service-oriented to omnichannel excellence.
The strategic direction is clear: evolve from a traditional product-driven model to a more advisory-led approach, placing clients’ needs, long-term relationships and value creation at the center of everything we do.
Retail and Corporate: A Shared Ambition
During the sessions dedicated to and Retail & Wealth Management and Corporate & SME & SB leaders presented the key priorities for the coming years.
For Corporate and SME, the ambition is to reinforce the Bank’s role as a trusted partner — supporting clients not only through financing, but through integrated advisory solutions that contribute to sustainable growth.
For Retail and Wealth Management, the focus is on building a distinctive omnichannel advisory model, combining strong personal relationships, advanced digital tools and innovative products to better serve customers across all segments.
Albania was highlighted as a market with strong growth potential, offering significant opportunities to further expand advisory services and strengthen customer relationships.
Listening to the Frontline
A particularly meaningful moment of the Roadshow was the dedicated meeting between IBD top management and representatives of the Retail Network.
This fruitful listening session enabled frontline colleagues to share perspectives, experiences and ideas directly with Division leadership. The open dialogue reinforced a key principle of the transformation: transformation succeeds when built together.
Engagement, collaboration and teamwork across all levels of the organization remain essential drivers of this new phase.
Best performers
During the Roadshow, top-performing representatives from both Retail and Business segments were formally recognized and awarded for their outstanding performance and exceptional contribution. Their dedication, consistent results, and commitment to excellence have played a significant role in driving overall success and setting a high standard across the bank.
Leading the Future Together
The Roadshow concluded with a shared message: the evolution toward a more advisory-driven bank will be shaped by people.
By investing in our teams, strengthening our capabilities and working together with a common vision, Intesa Sanpaolo Bank Albania is ready to enter this new journey with confidence and ambition.
Let’s lead the future. Together.
