Intesa Sanpaolo Bank Albania was part of the lenders team that financed the construction of Karavasta Solar a 140MW photovoltaic plant (the largest solar plan in the Western Balkans) with a disbursement in the amount of 17.86 million euros.

Intesa Sanpaolo Bank Albania was part of the syndicated loan supporting the accomplishment of the most important to date project on the renewable energies field in Albania.

The successful finalization of the financing is a result of synergies developed within the Intesa Sanpaolo Group in areas such as sustainable development, local and international project finance expertise, harmonized with specialized financial products and services like Renewable Project Finance and Risk Hedging Instruments.
