Intesa Sanpaolo ranks first among European banks and is the best Italian company in the 2021 Institutional Investor ranking for relations with financial analysts and institutional investors, as well as for ESG aspects.

For 2021, Institutional Investor awarded the Group:
•    Intesa Sanpaolo: best European bank and best Italian company for relations with financial analysts and institutional investors and for ESG aspects

•    Carlo Messina: confirmed as best CEO among European banks

•    Stefano Del Punta: confirmed as best CFO

•    Marco Delfrate: confirmed as best Investor Relations Professional.

The awards assigned by Institutional Investor testify to the international investor community’s strong appreciation of the Intesa Sanpaolo Group both in terms of great attention the Bank pays to ESG issues and the quality of the CEO and management team. These awards are based on the results of an extensive survey conducted among approximately 2,000 financial analysts and institutional investors, representing over 900 companies.
